By booking you are taken to have accepted all of the terms and conditions set out below in clauses 1 – 5 inclusive.
The booker refers to the person who completes the booking, and the booker is responsible for making any necessary payments for events or services.
Bookings can be made on either an individual basis, as booker and attendee, or by one booker for multiple attendees. When booking for multiple attendees, the booker must have the required permissions from their business / organisation to make the booking on behalf of the attendees, and they confirm this to us by completing the booking
Where there are no associated event or service fees, the booker will receive an automated email to confirm the booking. Any attendees included on the booking will be issued with a personal email confirmation of the booking, which will include any login details as necessary for the interactive services as required.
Where there are associated event or service fees, the booker must have the required authority to pay all applicable fees at the time of booking. By completing the booking, the booker is entering into a contract with The Pensions Regulator and is guaranteeing payment of all event or service fees (cancellation terms are detailed in section 2.0). The booker will receive a copy of the invoice. Any individuals included on the booking will be issued with a personal email confirmation of the booking, which will include any login details as necessary for interactive services as required.
The following terms apply:
1.1 Where there are associated event or service fees, the booker must pay all attendance or service fees in full.
1.2 Where there are associated event or service fees, discounted package bookings (i.e. attendance at a conference taking place over two or more days) are strictly made on the basis of one-named delegate per booking for the duration of the event or service.
1.3 The Pensions Regulator reserves the right to cancel bookings at any stage which do not meet our booking criteria. Booking criteria, if applicable, will be listed on the event or service website and/or ‘ticket type’ section of the website.
1.4 The Pensions Regulator reserves the right to refuse any application for booking and to refuse to supply any goods or services to any individual.
1.5 Where there are associated event or service fees, The Pensions Regulator cannot confirm your booking until payment is received. The booker is responsible for making this payment.
1.6 Where there are associated event or service fees, The Pensions Regulator may refuse entry or service provision for any bookings we have not received payment in full for.
2.1 Substitutions may be acceptable but must be sent in advance in writing to tpr@glasgows.co.uk
2.2 Where there are associated event or service fees, alterations to discounted package bookings are acceptable but may incur an adjustment in cost from discounted to standard fees, which must be approved and accepted by the booker before the alteration is confirmed.
2.3 Where there are associated event or service fees, notice of cancellation received in writing more than 21 days prior to the event or service delivery will be issued a refund of their booking fee minus a £ cancellation charge. Where payment has not yet been received by us, the booker is still liable for this cancellation charge and you will be issued with a credit note covering difference.
2.4 Where there are associated event or service fees, cancellations received 21 days or less prior to the event or service delivery will not receive a refund. Where payment has not yet been received by us, you are still liable for the full booking payment.
3.1 The Pensions Regulator reserves the right to alter the content and timing of the event or service, the identity of the speakers, location and/or the venue.
3.2 The Pensions Regulator will not be liable for any costs or losses incurred as a result of alterations to the programme.
4.1 Where there are associated event or service fees, should the event or service be postponed for any reason you will be entitled to receive a full refund in respect of the booking fees unless force majeure applies.
4.2 Where there are associated event or service fees, should the event or service be cancelled for any reason you will be entitled to receive a full refund in respect of the booking fees unless force majeure applies.
4.1 The Pensions Regulator will not be liable to you for any costs or losses you incur as a result of postponement or cancellation.
5.1 Should The Pensions Regulator be unable to perform any obligations under these Terms and Conditions due to causes or circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to any Act of God, war or threatened war, terrorism or threatened terrorism, fire, flood, drought, strike, lock out or actions of the venue, The Pensions Regulator will not be liable to you for any losses or claims arising from this.
5.2 If you are unable to attend the event or receive the service due to causes or circumstances beyond your reasonable control, but the event or service remains unaffected, The Pensions Regulator will not be liable to you for any costs or losses. These circumstances include but are not limited to any Act of God, war or threatened war, terrorism or threatened terrorism, fire, flood, drought or strike.
